Important Official Server Reboot Thread

We had an unplanned maintenance on our dedicated server that hosts the websites, therefore web services such as forum, websites and the Diablo2 GameGuard (some players couldn't connect to the server and create games since it connects to the website for updates and checks) were unavailable for about 1 hour. All other services related to the community servers are not affected by this.

Everything is back online now and hopefully fixed as we runned all needed checks for hardware/memory/cpu, etc and turned out to be fine.

 

We are performing a planned maintenance in order to update our security patch. It should take about 30 minutes from the moment the os updates are done.

A fast maintenance of around 60 seconds has been performed today over the PvPGN platform ( Diablo 2, Warcraft 3, Starcraft, Red Alert 2) in order to clear old logs and re-apply our usual realm name.

Those who were already in a game during the maintenance have not been disconnected, however they will need to login again into their account once they quit their current game.

 

The server platform threw an error earlier this morning and the automation script failed to get it backup up so it had to be restarted manually which resulted into an unexpected downtime of about an hour.
