Cannot connect to server, did all the steps

I have done everything that i had to do at *Download & Install Instructions* and *How To Connect* but i'm still getting *Fetching server list* somehow...

I have installed Westwood Shared Internet Components and my Red Alert 2 is version 1.006

I assume these host addresses are correct at the moment, since i can ping this address and it's alive

78.96.138.238 servserv.westwood.com
78.96.138.238 apiregister.westwood.com
78.96.138.238 irc.westwood.com
78.96.138.238 gameres.westwood.com

I have added these to the hosts file on the last line

The only thing i didnt do is running * Europe Diablo's PVPGN WOL Installer* since the download link is down and i cannot find it with google, that program is used to add the hosts addresses automaticly right? Or did i get that part wrong?

I installed Red Alert 2 with the installer for *Command & Conquer The First Decade*
I also installed *The First Decade: Unofficial Patch 1.03*


Now i'm not sure what the problem may be, i'm hoping someone on this forum may have a clue?

I was able to connect on the new IP, but it was kind of tricky to make an new account with all the errors i got at first, but i have succesfully made one.

The errors i got around are as follows:
1: Requesting Nickname
2: Could not connect to Westwood Online
3: Requesting new login...
4: Unknown Error

I have made a complete guide for future new players, i hope it wil be usefull to them!
