Cannot host games wc3 1.26

Hi, Im new to the Europebattle.net, I Tried to host a game to play some 1v1 or 2v2(coop) with a friend on this server but my friend was not able to join in.

We are using the Wc3 1.26 and I disabled my firewall (cuz I renember that in the old wc3 you needed to do that to host) but even that did not work

It is necesary an extra step to be able to host in the server? (if so, can somebody please send a small tutorial on how to do it?)
Do I need to call an specific bot to host a game? (if so, what is the botname and commands?)

Thanks for the answer Ezekiel, We both tried to host and we both failed.

We are going to try this the next time we have time to play!, I will update in a new coment if we make it or not
